Garlic Press (Or something to smash garlic)... Small Container... Q-tip
Step 1: Pour 1-2 tbs of Pure Olive Oil in container and Peal 1 Clove of Garlic
Step 2: Smash Garlic and put into oil
Step 3: Stir and let Garlic soak in oil for a minute
Step 4: Let a drop of the Garlic Oil drip into Ear
Repeat 2-3 times a day!!!... It's That Simple!!!! No reason for drugs :-)

ERGO

Yes, I'm In Love!!! I am one of those Baby-wearing Mommies, have had a few different wraps and slings. I just got my first ERGO Performance Carrier and absolutely love it for my 18 month old! It was time to get a heavier duty one for my big boy and I am so happy with my decision!!! I still have a weak neck and back from my accident a year ago so it gets a little hard baby (toddler) wearing sometimes. The ERGO has such great Support!! I think we will have many great times with this :-)

* Going Green Myself?? Yes I think So *

* Going Green Myself?? Yes I think So * I first started going Green with Cloth Diapers. I was iffy about them, but instantly fell in love. After that, The thought about going green for myself kept coming to mind. I was interested in trying Mommy Cloth and a Diva Cup. I finally decided to try the Mommy Cloth since regular Pads bothered me. I couldn't believe it. They were awesome!!! I always felt drier and was never once irritated. After trying the Mommy Cloth I told myself I just Had to try the cup!!! At first it was a little hard getting used to, but once I got the hang of it, I fell in love! The rubber is nice and flexible, so it is easy to insert and take out. There's no carrying around a bunch of tampons, having to take your purse in and out of the bathroom in mixed company, throwing away things that will sit in landfills.... There's Endless reasons why to make the switch!!! ~ The Spry Family ~

How I Do It

It's been 2 Months since I posted last! These 2 months have actually gone by FAST!! 2 1/2 more (which will hit our 9 months- 1/2 way point to the end) and we get to see Daddy again for a couple weeks! YAY!!! My heart beats faster and faster every time I dream of the day he walks off the plane, it's one of the most amazing feelings in the world when we reunite! I can't wait!!! I pray everyday that God blesses me with the strength and Patience I need to make it through that day, and he always answers! I wouldn't make it without Him!!! People are constantly asking me how I do it, well this is how- GOD (LOTS AND LOTS OF PRAYING!!!), My Mom and Dad (Who are always right here when I need!) and ... I have started a couple new Hobbies (Had to put a stop to the hobby, or I should say Addiction, of shopping!!!), to keep these months going... Reading and Making Fudge! I Love them both! :) I Love making Fudge for others, I try not to eat much myself or I'd be gaining LOTS during this deployment haha... As for reading-- I am picky about my books, but have been finding some really great ones!!! My amazing Husband bought me a Kindle Fire (For an early Mother's Day Present) and I can not wait to get it!! I am thinking about joining a Christian Book Club (If I can find one around this area, or maybe I'll Have to start one, which I'm ALWAYS up to doing!) Some of my Favorite Books I've read lately, that I HIGHLY Suggest are: "Real Moms, Real Jesus"... "Heaven Is For Real"... and Dave Ramsey's "Financial Peace". Between God, my parents, and Reading great books, this is how I make it through my Days!! :-) "I can do everything through Him who gives me strength" Philippians 4:13 NIV ~ The Spry Family ~

When Duty Calls

When Duty Calls... Something all military families go through, something we don't have a choice to say yes or no to. It's never an easy thing, never gets easier. The 3rd is just as hard as the 1st. Thankfully for me, I have my family here to help me and the kids. I couldn't imagine going through this without them. My mother is always a call away, well most of the time she's at my house just to hang out so I don't even have to lift a phone :) And my father is here for anything I ask. The in-laws are great too! Taking the kids when I need a break!
I'm sorry, but no civilian can actually know what we're going through. Nothing compares to what our lives bring. The fear we fight daily. Worrying about our loved ones, they're not just gone, they're at war. It's completely different, we don't just Miss them. "I know how you feel" is something no military wife wants to hear from a non-military person. Sorry, but it's the truth!
I think the hardest part of deployments is when there's Children involved. Nothing breaks my heart more then the "I miss daddy, can he come home to play".. Hearing your 4yr old tell you that someone said her daddy's dead that's why he's gone.. Or finding out your daughter is so sad because she thinks it's Her fault daddy's gone, because we brought him to the Airport. . .The constant, "will daddy be home tomorrow?.. No sweetie not tomorrow... Tomorrow after Tomorrow?" . . It's so hard trying to explain it to a little one.
Although The military has some positives-- Like all the amazing friends-- or I should say Family-- We've made, Traveling the world, experiencing amazing things... I can not wait for the end of it! As every month goes by, the excitement grows more and more. 2013 can not get here soon enough!!!
With all that being said, I will add, that I am so extremely proud of my Soldier and everything he does for our Country, The Kids, and I. I love this man with all of my heart!! He's my soldier and always will be! :)

Going Green

I have a new obsession! Going Green...I LOVE Cloth Diapers! I was always iffy about trying them but now I'm SO glad I did! Then Once I started those I became addicted to things like ALL NATURAL Laundry Detergent, Cleaning Supplies, Organic shampoo and Conditioner, Face wash, nutrition shakes/Energy drinks ... and so on. I couldn't Go Green all the way, I just depend on things like my Toilet Paper a little too much haha, but somethings are much better "Green". The biggest reason I am for Going Green is my Children! I want them to grow up doing good for our World AND Themselves! In order for that to happen they need to begin learning it at home! I find it very important to set a Good Example!

Here are some of My Favorite Natural/Green Things:

~ Baking Soda- The best Deodorizer! I also use it in my diaper laundry pre-soak to help with the smell!
~ Corn Starch- Works GREAT on Bum Rashes! Why put chemicals on your baby when you don't need to!
~ Vinegar- One of my FAVORITE Cleaning supplies! (Just don't use on wood!)
~ Lemon- Put it on your wood furniture, it shines it right up!
~ Rockin' Green- Laundry Detergent! The best Natural Laundry Detergent I've found so Far!
~ Kawaii Baby Cloth Diapers- GREAT for my Heavy Wetter! Never have a leak!!!
~ Essential Oils- Can be used for so many things! Put in Homemade Baby wipes, Put in Vinegar cleaning solution for Smell, Boil some for natural air freshener...

Winding, Bumpy Roads? Yes!

I don't think anyone's life is "perfect". Who's days REALLY go as they plan? Ok, so some days do, but definitely not EVERYDAY! I have found the past couple months crazier then normal. Trying to get the hang of being a "single" mom to a toddler and preschooler, while being a college student, and a homemaker, all while my husband's doing his job is harder then I expected! I actually had to quit my out of the home job (which was my get away!) because its always one thing after another here. (I did however find a WAHM Job for extra income!!) I don't think I will ever get the hang of it, But I remind myself (many times a day) that "I can do all things through Christ, Who Strengthens Me" Philippians 4:13.. I Live off that verse! . . . I have found the best way to describe my life as: Winding, Bumpy Roads! But in the end, I will admit, I love it, and wouldn't want it any other way :-)
